Bouddi at Bells: Supporting future creative artists

The Bouddi Foundation for the Arts, in association with Bell Shakespeare founder John Bell, are holding their annual musical fundraising event on Sunday October 19 in support of aspiring young performers and writers in the Central Coast region.

The concert, set on the beautiful lawns of Manfredi at Bells, will this year feature members of Opera Australia and NAISDA, flautist Jane Rutter, Central Coast trio Good Times She Wrote, the Fusion Vocal Group, and local Australia’s Got Talent star Greg Gould in an array of opera, jazz, classical, pop, and indigenous music. ABC’s James O’Loughlin will MC.

Last years event saw artists such as Wendy Matthews, Graeme Blundell, Rob Carlton, and Jane Caro come together to perform, without fee, a mix of jazz, Shakespeare, opera and comedy.

Tickets for the day are a fully tax deductible $85, with all profits going towards advancing the careers of budding young talents.

The Bouddi Foundation for the Arts was founded by Shakespearian actor and director John Bell who believes successful artists have a “duty of care to lend a helping hand” to shy, or struggling young creatives.
